Years of development now bring you the result of a close collaboration between Grammy Award-winning musician John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith.
Silver Sky delivers the sound of an old guitar combined with the delicacy of a brand new instrument.
Some of the more special features include the pickups, tuners, bridge, neck and headstock shape. The headstock shape is modeled after PRS's trademark design, but inverted to accommodate Mayer's playing style and maintain a consistent string length behind the nut, which makes it easier to keep in tune.
The body is made from poplar wood and the neck from maple.
The fingerboard is decorated with small birds and made from rosewood.
The tremolo in steel, 2 points and the neck shape is 635JM.
The tuners are made in vintage style.
