The new Roland PD-140DS Digital V-Pad snare drum combines snare drum tradition with the latest trigger technology. An all-new three-ply mesh, mounted on a standard 14" drum, provides a completely natural rebound and punch feel. Roland's newly developed multi-sensor system picks up your strokes across all areas of the drum, providing a new and improved record of your dynamic playing down to the smallest detail. Edged and closed-edged strokes are automatically detected, just as the Pad detects the touch of your hands and adjusts the sound to be natural, detailed and full of character.
